Welcome to the Melody Fairchild Running Camp for girls ages 1419. The 2008 session is July 1421 at Active at Altitude, a welcoming fitness center in Estes Park, Colorado, 45 minutes northwest of Boulder. The camp is fifteen minutes from hundreds of trails in Rocky Mountain National Park, one of the most stunningly beautiful and challenging running playgrounds in the country.
Our camp experience offers coaching and instruction in an intimate setting. Enrollment is limited to 20 campers each week to provide quality mentoring and to create the meaningful experience desired by athletes looking to improve and grow. Running strength and skill will be tested on trails at 7500 ft. altitude in the Rocky Mountains. Seminars will focus on race strategy, nutrition, sports psychology, strength training, flexibility, recovery, goal setting and self-confidence for female athletes.
Space is still available sign up soon!

Camp director Melody Fairchild is a two-time Foot Locker National High School Cross-Country Champion and remains the course record holder. She is regarded as one of the greatest female high school distance runners in the history of the United States, having been the first high school girl to break ten minutes for two miles.
“It is my intention to empower camp participants to value their lives and their journeys with running as a grand exploration of the treasures that lie within, and to teach them how to use what they find to begin building a solid Foundation to Run On.” Melody
